As household circumstances change, periodically review and update the POAs you’ve created. You can revoke a POA simply by writing a letter that clearly identifies it and states that you simply revoke it, and delivering the letter to your former agent. (Some states require such a letter to be notarized.) It’s a good suggestion to also send copies to 3rd parties with whom the agent might have acted on your behalf.
