Might as well.
Those racist rednecks will re-elect him anyway.
… who seems to be cursing to himself.
After his victory his advisors announced that one of his first moves would be to lift a ban that would swell the number abortions both here and abroad.
They weren’t kidding.
Today it was announced that Obama will fund foreign abortions.
FOX News reported:
President Obama will issue an executive order on Thursday reversing the Bush administration policy that bans the use of federal dollars by non-govermental organizations that discuss or provide abortions outside of the United States.
Obama will sign the executive order on the 36th anniversary of the landmark Roe v. Wade Supreme Court ruling that legalized abortion in all 50 states.
The policy, known in governmental circles as the "Mexico City policy," requires any non-governmental organization to agree before receiving U.S. funds that they will "neither perform nor actively promote abortion as a method of family planning in other nations."
The language was announced at the United Nations International Conference on Population in 1984, and was approved by President Reagan and originally drafted by his assistant secretary of state, Alan Keyes.
Maybe James Francis Cardinal Stafford was right when he warned, "For the next few years, Gethsemane will not be marginal. We will know that garden."
Despite the church’s stand against abortion, Obama carried a majority of the Catholic voters this year. They went 54% to 45% for Obama.
The insane, vicious dog that attacked the 76-year-old ex-Prez was a Maltese poodle. What makes a dog "clinically depressed" as opposed to just an asshole? A fluffy little asshole?
This is not that dog.
This is an utterly charming, calm, sweet-tempered, all-poodle poodle.
She could have had the job if she’d wanted it, but Teddy’s health has turned her against it? That doesn’t seem believable.
Iraqis tell Obama- Not so fast!
Legally Obama cannot withdraw US troops for one year after notification and only after Iraqi officials agree to the withdrawal.
Aswat al-Iraq reported:
BAGHDAD / Aswat al-Iraq: Legal expert Tareq Harb on Wednesday said that new U.S. President Barack Obama can not withdraw his troops from Iraq before one year from notifying the Iraqi side, noting that he can withdraw the forces only if the Iraqi government agrees.
Commenting on Obama’s speech upon taking office, Harb said “the president vowed to withdraw troops from Iraq but he did not mention the articles of the agreement in this respect.”
“The agreement stipulates the withdrawal of troops in one year after notifying the Iraqi side,” he said, noting that the agreement does not allow the withdrawal before this period unless the Iraqi government agrees.
New U.S. President Barack Obama said on Tuesday that the United States will leave Iraq to Iraqis.
In a speech upon taking office, Obama echoed key promises from his historic election campaign by saying: “we will begin to responsibly leave Iraq to its people.”
Earlier today Obama asked the Pentagon about a responsible Iraqi drawdown.
Obama opposed the successful Bush surge that saved Iraq. He previously said that genocide was not even a good enough reason to keep US troops in the country.
